- The cheapest online bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and logistics is offered by Clayton State University. Its online BBA in Supply Chain Management costs $21,120 for 120 credits at the 2026-27 rate of $176 per credit. Georgia residents and out-of-state students pay the same rate.
- Two programs charge one flat price per term instead of charging by the credit. WGU bills $3,850 per six-month term, and UMPI’s YourPace program bills $1,800 per eight-week session. Our totals assume four years of study. Students who complete more courses each term can finish sooner and pay less.
- Living in the right state still helps at some public universities. North Carolina residents pay $22,436 for UNCG’s online program, about $18,000 less than out-of-state students. Residents of Florida, Utah and Nevada also pay less at the University of West Florida, Utah Valley University and Truckee Meadows Community College.
- Nine degrees in our 2027 affordable rankings are offered by AACSB-accredited business schools. Missouri State, the University of Arkansas and the University of Houston are new to the list this year. AACSB says only 6% of institutions offering business degrees worldwide have earned its accreditation, so it’s encouraging to note that affordable online degrees in supply chain management are available at these schools.
- Three schools haven’t raised their rates since 2025. The University of the Cumberlands still charges $220 per credit, Columbia Southern University $278 and UMPI $1,800 per session. Metro State and Minnesota State Moorhead raised theirs the most, by about 13% each.

The University of the Cumberlands offers two pathways to an undergraduate qualification in SCM. Students choose between an Online Bachelor of Science (BS) in Supply Chain & Project Management or an Online Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Supply Chain & Project Management. The only difference between the two is that the BA includes 12 credits in a foreign language (French or Spanish).
Otherwise, the degrees have exactly the same business core, electives, and supply chain & project management foundation and core. The curriculum leans heavily toward the business & management side of SCM. Students must complete 51 credits in the business major, with work in accounting, business law, HR, and more. CSU is a private, for-profit online university, so it won’t provide much in the way of undergraduate research opportunities. However, it does carry both regional accreditation (CC&U) and ACBSP accreditation for its business degrees.

For 2026-27, the tuition rate is $278 per credit for undergraduates, with an additional technology fee of $35 per course. Since most courses are three credit hours, we counted the fee as $11.67 per credit, so 120 credits at $289.67 each gave us a minimum total cost of $34,760 for CSU’s Online BSBA – Supply Chain Management. CSU Learning Partners receive a tuition discount that is applied to the full tuition rate.

It’s a four-year degree, but students may apply for admission to the BAS prior to completion of their AAS and work on lower and upper-division coursework simultaneously.
The curriculum loses no time in approaching the subject. Logistics and transportation management is covered in the first semester, followed by work in logistics & quality management tools in the second year. By the third and fourth year, students are diving deep into logistics security, warehousing, and more.
Better yet, this BAS features a logistics industry research capstone project and a mandatory logistics project management course, with an internship available as an elective. TMCC even runs its own Center for Applied Logistics Management (CALM), which may be a useful source for career networking & internship opportunities.
Tuition Costs at TMCC
TMCC charges separate rates for in-state and out-of-state students. However, according to the College Catalog, students who physically reside outside the state of Nevada and who take online classes only may be eligible for a special distance education rate.
Once we added the 2026-27 per credit charge for nonresident distance education students to the resident registration and per credit fees, an out-of-state online student pays $224 per credit for lower-division courses and $358.75 per credit for upper-division courses. We priced the 60 credits in the first two years of the catalog’s recommended schedule at the lower-division rate and the 60 credits in the last two years at the upper-division rate, which gave us a total cost of $34,965 for non-residents enrolled in TMCC’s Online BAS in Logistics Operations Management. Students who choose lower-division electives would pay a little less. TMCC also bills a $10 Academic Success Initiatives fee each semester, which our total leaves out.

In 2026-27, Outside NC students pay $379.58 per credit plus $43.92 in per-credit fees, and both are charged on no more than 12 credits per semester. A full-time semester therefore costs 12 x $423.50 = $5,082. This gives us a minimum total cost of $40,656 for non-residents who take 8 semesters to complete UNCG’s Online BS in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. UNCG also bills an $8 registration fee each semester, which our total leaves out. The University of West Florida’s Online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Supply Chain Logistics Management was developed by the Department of Commerce in the university’s AACSB-accredited Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business. It’s a mirror version of the on-campus program.
All students in the BSBA are required to complete fundamental building blocks in business (e.g. financial accounting) and a 30-credit business core. The SCM and logistics specialization consists of 24 credits, with coursework in warehousing, logistics systems & analytics, global logistics management, transportation, purchasing & supply, and more. BSBA students can opt for a 6-credit logistics internship in lieu of electives.

Tuition Costs at UWF
UWF charges different tuition rates for out-of-state and in-state online students. For our out-of-state price, we’ve used the 2026-27 tuition waiver rate of $361.32 per credit hour. Tuition waivers cover up to 75% of the non-resident portion of tuition. Waivers are available to out-of-state students, including international students, who are admitted to online campus programs. The waiver isn’t automatic. Students must submit a new waiver request every semester. Without it, the full out-of-state rate is $714.03 per credit hour.

Its 79 credits of Walton College business courses are priced at $376.09, and the other 41, all general education, at $277.84. Four online fees (library, network and data systems, off-campus, and online facilities) add $55.38 to each of the 120 credits. Students in an approved online program pay in-state tuition no matter where they live. Taking a course on campus brings on-campus fees for that course, which our total leaves out.

Online students need 120 credits, since the one-credit University Experience course is required only in the traditional degree, and 120 credits at $399 each comes to $47,880. We priced it at a full-time pace of 15 credits a semester. The student services fee is $70 per credit up to 9 credits, then a flat $630, so a semester comes to $5,385 before college fees. Each college also adds its own fee per credit hour. Business courses carry $55, most arts, humanities and science courses $25 to $45, and health and human services courses $40. We priced those fees across the school’s four-year plan, where 75 of the 120 credits are business courses, and they add $5,155. The fee schedule also lists a $200 athletic fee and an $85 technology fee each semester, which our total leaves out.

There are three to choose from, Energy Supply Management, Strategic Sourcing and Analytics, and each pairs two courses, such as Energy Supply Chain with Project Management.
The core courses take each stage of the chain in turn, from Demand and Supply Integration and Strategic Supply Management to Process and Quality Management and Global Logistics Management. After SCM 3301 and a business statistics prerequisite, the major runs three semesters, and Bauer says prerequisites make a faster pace impossible. SCM 4390, a supply chain strategy capstone, closes it out.
Bauer runs the Online BBA entirely online, with some classes meeting live and others self-paced. Some instructors require proctored exams. Nobody travels to campus for them, though students may need to book a testing site nearby. Entering freshmen can join UHin4 for priority registration.

The $49,110 total is 120 credits at UH Extend’s flat rate of $409.25 per credit. Every Online BBA student pays that rate, whether they live in Texas or out of state. Online BBA students are also exempt from the Student Services, University Center, and Recreation and Wellness Center fees that campus students pay. UH Extend’s cost page doesn’t tie the rate to an academic year. Off-campus proctoring services may charge for exams in some courses, which our total leaves out.

Another 9 credits come from electives such as Purchasing Management, Quality Management, and Negotiation Strategies. The business core adds Strategic Management and a choice between an internship and an applied professional capstone.
Grades count. Students need a 2.50 GPA across the BBA core and every supply chain course. Online BBA students may also be excused from the world language requirement.
Tuition Costs at UW-Platteville
UW-Platteville’s program price is $49,408. The university’s current online price table gives one rate for its BBA programs, $404.43 per credit, with no separate out-of-state figure. Undergraduates also pay a textbook rental fee of $9.13 per credit, capped at $109.50 in a fall or spring term. We assumed a full-time load of 15 credits. That puts a semester at $6,066.45 in tuition plus the $109.50 rental cap, or $6,175.95, and eight semesters cover all 120 credits. UW-Platteville also bills a $35 registration fee each semester, which our total leaves out.

Affordability Rankings Methodology
To identify the most affordable online supply chain degrees in the USA, we assessed more than 100 bachelor’s programs from across the country. In order to qualify for inclusion in our rankings, undergraduate degrees had to be in supply chain management, logistics, or a closely related field and be offered by a regionally accredited institution. Programs also had to be fully online and open to students starting a bachelor’s from scratch, so degree-completion programs that admit only students with prior college credit weren’t included.
Once we had a list of potential programs, we manually researched the total cost of each online supply chain management and logistics degree. We assessed two key aspects of the price:
- Tuition Costs: Our calculations are based on a full-time, 8-semester plan of study. In our profiles, you’ll notice that many schools charge online undergraduates a simple per credit tuition rate. However, there are still a few public universities that charge one full-time rate for a range of credits each semester. For those schools, we priced 15 credits per semester (15 credits x 8 semesters = 120 credits). Schools that charge a flat price per term, such as WGU, were priced at four years of terms. Where a school charges different rates for different courses, we priced the courses on its own degree plan. In cases where programs had different tuition rates for in-state and out-of-state students, we opted for the out-of-state rate. Discounts that every online student can get, such as UWF’s out-of-state tuition waiver, are counted. Discounts for some students only, such as military rates, are not.
- Mandatory Fees: Mandatory fees such as distance education, resource, or technology fees can add thousands of dollars to the cost of an online bachelor’s program in SCM. At Metro State, for example, fees of $42.30 per credit add $5,076 over 120 credits. These fees can be charged on a per credit or a per semester basis. To ensure you weren’t blindsided by extra costs, we have included fees charged per credit in our calculations. Most fees charged by the semester are left out, and where a school bills one, its profile says so. You may also need to budget for additional one-off expenses such as books & supplies and application & graduation fees.
Finally, we ranked the programs based on the total program price, with the most affordable options taking the top spots in our rankings.
Additional Considerations
Keep in mind that the prices you see in our rankings reflect the minimum total cost for an online bachelor’s degree in SCM and logistics. Although schools such as CSU Global are willing to “lock in” their tuition rates for the course of the degree, many universities still raise their per credit tuition rates each year.
And while universities publish a sticker price for tuition, actual costs can fluctuate based on factors like your income, chosen program, and transfer credits. It’s also important to remember that university tuition rates don’t reflect the impact of financial aid, which can significantly reduce the overall cost of your degree.
Ultimately, while each of our 25 ranked schools represents an affordable opportunity, the most budget-friendly option for you will depend on your unique circumstances. How to Save Money on an Online Bachelor’s in SCM and Logistics
There are many ways to save money on an online bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics. The simplest step is to go through our affordable rankings. We have unearthed 25 online undergraduate programs in SCM and logistics that cost $50,000 or less for all students, regardless of their state of residency. But there are other tricks:
- Opt for a competency-based program that allows you to complete your degree as quickly as you wish. The faster you go, the cheaper your total cost will be.
- Finish in fewer semesters. Our prices assume four years at 15 credits per semester. Some public universities, including Minnesota State Moorhead and UNCG, charge the same tuition for any load from 12 to 18 credits a semester, so taking more courses each semester can lower your total. Fewer semesters also mean fewer per-semester fees.
- Compare the schools in our rankings with prices at public universities within your state. Some schools offer very low tuition rates to in-state online students.

The most expensive program on our list of 25 is UW-Platteville’s online BBA at $49,408, and the middle program, at the University of New Hampshire, costs $41,400. At the top of the range, prices can pass $170,000. The University of Missouri-St. Louis, for example, charges out-of-state students $1,440 per credit for its online BSBA in Supply Chain Management, or $172,800 for 120 credits.
